When your dad and I were first married we had homemade pizza every Friday night. This is the recipe I used for the pizza dough.
Sprinkle yeast and sugar in warm water, and let stand for 5 minutes. Combine the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Stir half the yeast mixture into center, then the oil. Mix together then add remaining yeast mixture. Add another tblsp or 2 of water to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough out onto a slightly floured board, and knead until smooth and elasticity, about 10 minutes. Place in a greased mixing bowl. Turn to grease sides of bowl. Cover with towel and let rise until double in size.
Makes 2 pizzas.
