Heat oven to 350. Mix sugars, flour, spices and salt. Cut butter into small chips and freeze to harden. Slice apples and stir with blended dry ingredients to mix well. Place hald of apple slices in shallow casserole and dot with half of butter. Top with remaining apple slices and sprinkle with Calvados. Dot with remaining butter. Bake 40 - 60 minutes until tender.
