Delicious cheesy potato soup
Bring water to a boil and add potatoes cut into 1/2 inch cubes. Add chicken base, salt and pepper. Cook for 12 minutes. Add can of cheddar cheese soup. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add margarine, flour(very slowly) and half and half. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes. I chose to mix with hand blender, but is not required. Soup is ready to eat. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits and chives if desired.
