Pre-heat oven 350? Place the butter, sugar, brown sugar and pumpkin puree in the bowl of a mixer.
Mix well. Add the egg and vanilla and mix until smooth. Add the flour, oats, pecans, cherries, spices, salt and baking soda and mix well. Spoon onto a well greased sheet pan and cook until golden brown about 10 minutes. Let cool about 3-5 minutes then remove from the pan. Eat or store in an airtight container.
