Suggest a better description1. Melt the butter over medium heat. Add onions, celery, and garlic; sauté until vegetables begin to soften.
2. Add flour, pumpkin, chicken stock, parsley, thyme, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil, stirring until flour is dissolved.
3. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until vegetables are soft, about one hour. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
Add a bit of lemon juice and milk.
