Suggest a better descriptionPreheat Oven to 350. Grease and flour a square baking pan.
In a large bowl mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and cinnamon.
Cut in margarine and blend with forks until it forms into pea sizes.
Use more margarine as required.
Add more flour, oatmeal and sugar as needed.
When well blended, spoon about 2/3 in greased pan and gently press to make a solid base.
Bake in oven about 20 - 25 minutes until center is lightly browned and edges are darker.
Remove from oven and spread preserves over base leaving about 1/4" around the edges.
Top with the remaining crumble. don't pack down the topping.
Return to the oven and bake until top is browned.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before cutting.
NOTE: You can use any flavor of preserves.
