3 layer cake with cream cheese icing
Lightly grease and flour pans.
In a large bowl, mix ingredients flour through coloring.
In another bowl, combine buttermilk, cocoa, and vinegar. Stir well.
Combine contents of both bowls and blend well.
Pour batter evenly into pans and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, or until center
springs to the touch.
Allow cake to cool for 10 minutes.
Turn cakes onto waxed paper.
Set aside to cool and make icing.
Using mixer, blend all ingredients until creamy and thick.
Place one layer on cake plate and cover top with icing.
Put next layer on top and cover top with icing.
Top with last layer and cover sides and top with icing.
