Heat olive oil in pan and add cumin and chili powder. Heat until fragrant. Add onion and saute until translucent. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Empty can of beans with liquid into onions. Mix well. Simmer for about 10 minutes and add in jalapeno and Cilantro. Simmer for 20 minutes, adding water as needed.
Add salt and mash to desired consistency.
