Suggest a better descriptionPlace the milk, salt, & rice in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil & cook uncovered over low heat for 20 mins. Season w/ nutmeg, vanilla, cinnamon, & sugar. Add the egg & butter & mix well. Pour into a baking dish and brown lightly under the broiler, watching carefully, for one minute. Allow to cool and chill thoroughly before serving.
