Suggest a better descriptionCut the beans into 2. 5cm (1 inch) pieces on the diagonal. Cook in boiling water for 7 minutes until tender. Drain and keep warm. Melt the butter in a saucepan and saute the onions for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the cream, tarragon, cooked beans and add seasoning to taste. Do not allow to boil. Spoon into a warmed serving dish, garnish with the sprigs of tarragon and serve with grilled meats or fish. NOTES : A delicious way to serve runner beans.Ideal served with grilled meats or fish.
