Suggest a better descriptionPreheat broiler with rack at top, unless making ahead. Using 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture for each slice of salami, either spread evenly over the salami and roll up, or place cheese on one side of the salami slice and roll up around the filling. Skewer each roll with a toothpick. Place rolls in tight rows on a baking sheet so that the toothpicks lean over. Broil for about five minutes, or until salami is crisp and cheese starts to bubble. Remove from oven. These can be tossed into a bowl or neatly arranged on a platter. Makes 48 roll-ups ? 1992 Barbara Kafka, Party Food (Morrow Books) ? 1997 Lifetime Entertainment Services.
