A spicy alternative to the beef burger.
Combine egg and cornstarch. Beat with a wire whisk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Shape into 5 - 3 1/2 inch patties. Heat 1/3 cup of olive oil in skillet over medium heat until hot. Add patties and cook 14 - 16 minutes or until deep golden brown and the center is hot, turning once.
Add jalapeño slices and sour cream when serving. Can be served in a bun or without.
