Tasty & Filling Meal!
Clean and chop Escarole.
Mince Onion and Garlic.
Bring large pot of water to boil, then drop Penne Pasta into boiling water and cook as directed on package.
Meanwhile, heat Olive Oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook:
- sausage
- onion
- garlic
- red pepper flakes
- salt
until the Sausage is no longer pink.
Strain Sausage mixture to drain excess grease.
Return Sausage mixture to pan.
Turn heat to low and add Cream.
Bring to simmer and add Escarole.
Cook while stirring until Escarole is wilted; about 3 minutes.
Stir in Romano Cheese until melted.
Turn off heat and mix well with pasta.
Rest 5 minutes then serve.
