Suggest a better descriptionIn large stock pot, over medium heat, brown sausage. When close to being browned, add potatoes, onions, celery, carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed red pepper and cayenne pepper. Continue cooking, stirring frequently approx 15 min. or until potatoes and carrots begin to soften.
Sprinkle flour over meat and vegetables and stir to coat. continue cooking for 2 min. stirring constantly. Slowly stir in 2 cups of chicken broth, the 1/2 cup milk . Stir in remaining milk and broth. Simmer 15-20 min. Slowly add 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Salt and Pepper to taste
If desired top with sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions, chopped.
