A salty and sweet breakfast or even better a brunch.
- Heat the canola oil on stove top then add the Salami
- Fry the salami until they're a bit crusty or upon your desired cooking. I, personally, prefer them crunchy.
- Add the green onions to the pan and cook for 2 minutes until the onions lose their water.
- Break the eggs on top of the fried mixture, scramble and mix a bit, but make sure to keep the eggs juicy. Once you reach the ready state, remove directly from heat.
- Serving: Divide the amount into 3 chunks (2 eggs per person). Put the chunk on one side of the plate, put one table spoon of creamy goat cheese on top of the chunk in the plate. Then, put some caramelized maple syrup onions on the other side of the plate. You can find the recipe of the caramelized onions here : https://www.bigoven.com/recipe/maple-syrup-caramelized-onions/2461768
Make sure to leave some space in the plate between the eggs and the onions. Design with 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup.
Dipping the mix of the omelette with the chocolate gives it an amazing taste.
- Do not use sliced salami. Use a whole salami sausage and cut them. Besides a whole sausage lasts more than thin slices.
- I prefer the spicy salami, it boosts the flavour, but if you can't eat spicy, then regular salami will do just well.
- Use creamy goat cheese without any herbs.
