Mix powdered sugar, butter,vanilla, extract and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar.
Cover and refridgerate at least 3 hours. Heat oven to 375
Grease cookie sheet lightly. Divide dough in half. Roll each half 3/16 inch thick on lightly floured surface. Cut into deisred shapes with cookie cutters. Sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 8 minutes or until edges are golden brown. cool.
If you plan on frosting the cookies do not sprinkle with the sugar.
makes about 5 dozen 2 inch cookies.
