Suggest a better descriptionAdd butter to pan and melt over medium heat. Add shallots and capers. Saute for 2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Set aside.
Pat sea scallops dry with paper towels, then season scallops with salt and pepper. Heat saute pan over medium heat then add oil to pan. After 1 minute, add sea scallops. Saute until browned, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer sea scallops to serving dish. Cover with foil to keep warm.
Serve with butter sauce.
