Heat pot on sear/saute and add 1 Tablespoon olive oil. Heat pot up to high for 3 minutes.
With pot on sear/saute add ribs and brown on all sides (leave lid open) about 10 minutes.
While ribs are browning mix together chicken broth, teriyaki sauce and light brown sugar in large measuring cup.
After ribs are browned add sauce to pot and cook on pressure cooker setting High for 40 minutes.
While ribs are pressure cooking chop up vegetables and toss with 1 Tablespoon olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper
When pressure cooking is complete, quick release the pressure by moving the release valve to the VENT position. Carefully remove the lid when the unit has finished releasing pressure.
Place the reversible rack inside pot over ribs, making sure rack is in the higher position. Place vegetables mixture on rack.
Close crisping lid. Select Bake/Roast, set temperature to 350 degrees and set time to 30 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin.
Once vegetables are tender and roasted, transfer them and the ribs to a serving tray and tent loosely with foil to keep warm.
Select SEAR/SAUTE and set to HIGH. Bring liquid in pot to a simmer for 5 minutes. Transfer to bowl and set sit for 2 minutes. Then spoon off fat.
Serve sauce with ribs and vegetables.
