Pre-heat oven to 190C.
Line baking trays with greaseproof or baking paper.
Cream butter and sugar. If you're using Sweetener, check packaging for substitution guidelines. You can use Dairy-Free spread instead of Butter on a 1-to-1 basis.
Add salt.
Slowly add flour, drawing in with a wooden spoon to begin with.
Roll out to 0.5cm thickness.
Cut out with small cookie cutter.
Prick tops of each cookie with a fork.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
