Suggest a better descriptionIn large bowl add cereals and boiling water and let stand.
Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Add buttermilk. Add molasses. Stir in cereal mixture.
In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add raisins and mix together. Add to batter and stir to combine.
Store in refrigerator. When ready to bake, fill muffin tins 3/4 full and bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
