Suggest a better descriptionCaught(!) me just as I was about to unsub for the week. Bruce, walleye is a delicious, lean fish... so baste every 10 minutes. To start, get the pit up to 200-225. Be sure theres hot water in the pan... just a few cups. Pam the grid, and dip each fillet in veggie oil. Squeeze lemon juice all over and salt/pepper to taste. Place on grid, skin side down. Every 10 minutes, baste with oil/lemon mixture. Theyll be done in 45 minutes or when the flesh flakes easily. Dont overcook!! During the last 10 minutes, baste with margerine/butter/lemon/and whatever herbs you like. Bon appetite, amigo! Posted to bbq-digest by JLipsitt@aol.com on Aug 23, 1998, converted by MM_Buster v2.0l.
