In a large bowl combine the butter,shortening,1 1/2 cups of sugar and the eggs and mix thoroughly with an electric mixer on medium speed until creamy and well combined. 1-2 min
Sift together; flour,cream of tartar,bs,and salt and stir into the shortening mixture
In a small bowl, stir the remaining 2T sugar with cinnamon
Shape dough into 1 1/2 “ ball and roll into mixture.
Arrange 2” apart on sheet
Bake 8-10 min
