These beautiful, marinated veggies are the perfect make-ahead, crowd pleaser.

In medium sauce pan, bring just to a boil sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Remove from heat and COOL COMPLETELY.
In 13x9 glass dish, pour cooled mixture over drained ingredients and stir to coat well. Allow to marinate in refrigerator overnight or at least 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
Drain before serving (optional).
I like to chop/cut all veggies to same size (small). I even halve green beans from the can.
