Brown sausage. Add onions and cook until softened. Add garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce and water. Add all dry ingredients. Stir well and bring to a boil. Stir in red wine. Simmer on low for at least an hour, stirring frequently. . A longer simmer makes for a better sauce. Cook spaghetti.
