This is a great side dish to pair with ham.
Peel and boil potatoes in 1 t. salt. Drain and mash. Add cream cheese, 4 T. butter, 1 t. salt, 1/2 t. garlic salt, 1/4 t. white pepper and mix until smooth. Add 2 C. cream and mix well. Spread in greased 9x12 pan. Add pats of leftover butter to top and sprinkle with paprika. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 325' and an additional 30 minutes at 375'.
