Suggest a better descriptionPlace apples and cider in pot over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture comes to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring frequently, for about 1/2 hour. Stir in spices. Continue simmering and stirring for another 1/2 hour, or until apple slices have disintegrated and butter is thick. Remove from heat.
