Suggest a better description1. Combine sugar and wine in saucepan until sugar dissolves. Let cook for about 5 minutes.
2. Cut orange in half. Put a clove in each half and squeeze juice into the pot. Add orange halves to the pot.
3. Stir in: cranberries, pineapple and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil over medium high.
4. Reduce to medium low, gently boil until cranberries start to burst, about 30-45 minutes.
5. Remove from heat. Discard orange, cloves and cinnamon stick.
Serve at room temperature or refrigerate up to 2 weeks.
Makes about 3 cups.
