Suggest a better descriptionSoak split peas in water overnight. Then put all ingredients in crock pot. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours, or on High for 5-6 hours.
Makes 2 1/2 quarts.
Can substitute 1 lb dry navy beans (soaked overnight too) instead of peas to make Navy Bean Soup
