Suggest a better descriptionSort and rinse peas and combine with the next 6 ingredients in a large Dutch oven. Bring to boiling over medium heat, and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Remove ham bone and discard. Add celery, carrots and cubed ham. Cover and return to simmer for 30 minutes. Season and serve.
