Spring Dessert
Mix first 3 ingredients together and press into a 9x13 pan. Bake 8 minutes at 400 degrees and cool.
Blend together sugar and cream cheese and mix well. Add the cool whip and blend. Pour over cooled pretzel crust.
Mix Jello, boiling water, and frozen strawberries. Let Jello and Strawberry mixture set until berries are thawed and Jello is starting to set. Pour over cheese mixture and chill.
This can be made days ahead. The longer is sits the softer the pretzels get.
I crust my pretzels by putting them in a ziplock bag and using a rolling pin to crush them.
Don't add cold water to the Jello. The frozen berries take its place.
