Suggest a better descriptionOn the stove in a small pot warm water and butter - do not boil. In a large bowl combine 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, yeast and garlic salt. Add water and knead to make a soft dough. It will be sticky so use the remaining flour as needed. Let rise in a greased bowl until doubled but keep in mind this is a heavy dough so it will not rise very high. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle. Place ham, salami and cheese down the middle. Cut the sides and crisscross over the top pinching the very ends. Place on a cookie sheet and let rise again. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
I use my KitchenAid mixer with the dough hook to make the dough.
