Stuffed Mushrooms
Wash mushrooms, remove and chop stems; set aside. Sauté mushroom caps in 1/4 cup butter for 30 seconds; remove. Add chopped stems to skillet and sauté for 2 minutes. Add salt, garlic, whipping cream, and 1 tsp of basil. Heat to boiling, cook, and stir until reduced by half. Add parmesan. Spoon mixture into mushroom caps. In a small bowl, mix bread crumb, 1 tablespoon melted butter, and 1/2 tsp basil. Sprinkle the crumb mixture on top of the stuffed mushrooms. Broil until browned.
