Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
1. cream butter, sugar and egg
2. beat in baking powder, oj and vanilla
3. add flour, 1/2 cup at a time, beating well after each addition
4. cover and chill at least 2 hours
5.roll dough to 1/4" thickness on floured board
6. cut into desired shapes.
7. bake on ungreased cookie sheets ( 6 - 10 minutes)
Easy Creamy Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 to 2 Tablespoons half and half
Mix powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir in half and half until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency.
