Soften butter, then add sugar. Then add flour and baking powder. Add canned milk and vanilla.
Mix to make soft dough. Roll out on floured board and use cookie cutters.
Bake at 350* for 7 - 10 minutes till light brown on underside. Do not overtake.
You can sprinkle colored sugar on top before baking or frost when baked.
