A very refreshing salad. Great side dish to anything you grill.
Cook bacon, drain well.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add broccoli and cook until crisp-tender, 2-3 minutes.
Drain broccoli in a colander and rinse under cold running water. Drain well.
In a large bowl, combine mayo, sugar, and vinegar. Stir to dissolve sugar. Add broccoli, bacon, onions or scallions, and currants or raisins. Toss to coat with dressing. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
Note: Use scallions instead of onions, and currants instead of raisins. =)
