Suggest a better descriptionIn a medium saucepan combine the water, soy sauce, vinegar and honey.
Whisk in the cornstarch and the ginger, garlic, and black pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook until thickened.
For the fish, pat the fillets dry with a paper towel. Sprinkle both sides of the fillets with salt and pepper. Add the olive oil to a large skillet. Place the fish in the skillet, skin side down and cook over medium high for 3 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 more minutes over medium heat. Ad the teriyaki sauce and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes or until the internal temperature of the fish reaches 140 degrees.
Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of the fish.
