Lightly grease and flour a 9" square cake pan.
For the cake
Mix together the egg, oil and sugar until smooth.
Stir in the tomato soup.
Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves.

Optionally, stir in the raisins and walnuts.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the edges just begin to pull away from the pan.
Insert a cake tester into the center to make sure it comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan on a rack.
For the frosting
Mix the cream cheese, confectioners sugar and orange zest together until smooth.
Spread over the cooked cake.
