A kid-pleaser in our family for over 40 years! Combines grains, protein and veggies in one kid-friendly open-face sandwich
1. Split and butter hamburger buns; broil until lightly browned, about 2 minutes; place on cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil or parchment paper
2. Set oven to 350F
3. Mix tuna, cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced onion and horseradish in a large bowl
4. Mix in gream beans
5. Spoon about 1/2 cup of topping on each hamburger bun
6. Top hamburger buns with shredded cheese
7. Bake about 10 minutes until cheese is melted
Travels well. Great for raod trips, picnics, etc.
