How to cook a turkey
Turkey cooks 15 minutes for every pound. Heat oven to 450 degrees. Then reduce to 325/350 when putting turkey in the oven.
Gravy- use approx 1/2 cup flour and 3/4 cup cold water. Shake in a glass jar until well mixed. Scrape turkey drippings from roasting pan after removing the bird from the oven. Slowly add flour mixture to scrappings and juices, cook on low constantly stirring until mixture thickens.
