This fast, delicious dish is adapted for bright line eating from Pierre Franey's five star Turkey Chili recipe. For an easy family dinner, put it on the table with pasta or bread. Then, for your own BLE meal, just use a slotted spoon to portion out 4 oz. of meat and beans, serve over riced cauliflower, and top with an ounce of shredded cheddar cheese. This recipe cooks up fast or can be made ahead, makes numerous servings and freezes well. Servings: 10+. Protein and Fat: one serving each (spoon out 4 oz. meat & beans, and top with 1 oz. cheese). Vegetables: 6 oz. of cauliflower and sauce from the chili.

Heat oil over high heat in a large heavy pot; add turkey meat; cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Add onions, garlic, sweet pepper, celery, jalapeno pepper, oregano, bay leaves, chili powder and cumin. Stir to blend well. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
Add drained beans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes longer.
Serve in bowl over riced cauliflower and top with cheddar cheese. Add a squeeze of lime or lime wedge, if desired.
