This traditional Turkish lentil soup recipe is simple and quick, with roots from Adana, Turkey.
1. Saute onion in oil until onion is transparent.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce hit, cover, and simmer until rice and lentils are soft.
3. Puree with a hand mixer, or in a blender until smooth. Salt & pepper to taste.
