Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 400*; lightly spray deep casserole dish or loaf pan.
Place sweet potatoes in large pot with water; bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 10 mins.
In large skillet over med-hi heat, combine oil, garlic and onions; saute until tender, about 5 mins.
Add sausage, beef and pepper; cook until warmed through; add beer and simmer until reduced by half, about 4-5 mins.
In small glass, mix cornstarch and water; add to meat mixture and stir until thickened. Spread meat mixture evenly in dish. In small bowl, combine both corns, then spread evenly over meat.
Once potatoes have cooked, drain and return to pot. Add milk, butter and mash until smooth. Add salt to taste. Spread mashed potatoes over corn.
Bake for 35 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned at the edges.
