Some sort of yeast bread dessert with nuts.
One of my neighbors must have given this to Mom.

Soften yeast in warm water.
Combine flour and salt in bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add yeast and eggs. Mix until just blended.
Roll out dough 1/2 at a time to 13x9".
Beat cream cheese, sugar and peels until light and fluffy. Spread 1/2 on each triangle and sprinkle with nuts.
Roll up jelly roll style and place seam side down on a greased cookie sheet. Cut each roll halfway through lengthwise.
Bake at 375F for 20-25 minutes. Cool and sprinkle with with confectioners sugar.
Cut diagonally into 1" slices
Ok. I'd like to know where the triangles came from, if she rolls this dough out into 9x13, because that's usually a rectangle.
Why cut each roll halfway through lengthwise? What's that going to do?
