Quick and easy!
Heat oil over medium heat, stir in sugar and oregano. Add onion slices and increase heat slightly to colour onion, stirrng constantly to prevent sticking.
Lower heat as soon as coloured and add tomatoes, taking care that skins do not burst. Stir gently for about 2 minutes then remove to serving dish with slotted spoon.
Sprinkle with dressing and dust with basil.
