Suggest a better descriptionPreheat Dutch oven or large pot on medium heat and add olive oil. Add onion and garlic, saute for 5 min. Add ground turkey and cook for 12-13 min., stirring every few min.
Add diced tomatoes, water, beans, thyme, salt, pepper and bay leaves, stir and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 min. Turn off heat and add lemon juice, kale, stir, cover, let stand for a few minutes or until kale is wilted. Add basil and parsley, stir again, and let sit for 10 min. Discard bay leaves and serve hot.
Can be refrigerated for 3-4 days.
