This is an adaptation of the recipe from the South Beach Diet.
1) Cook the pasta according to the package directions and set aside.
2) Meanwhile, in a large saute pan heat oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant, stirring constantly, approximately 1 minutes.
3) Add the white wine and bring to a simmer. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally until reduced. About 5 to 7 minutes.
4) Add the clam juice & half and half. Increase the heat and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook until the sauce is reduced and becomes slightly thickened, stirring occasionally, approximately 10 minutes.
5) Add the parsley, lemon juice, clams and pasta until well combined. Remove from the heat and let sit for about five minutes to let the sauce absorb. Stir twice during the last 5 minutes. Serve sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
