Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dip Ingredients

2 tb Melted butter Blue Cheese Dip
4 tb Tabasco Sauce 1/2 c Soft tofu
2 tb Rice vinegar 2 tb Rice vinegar
30 Chicken wings or drumettes 1/3 c Nonfat plain yogurt
Paprika; for dusting 1/4 c Sour cream
Lettuce leaves; for lining 2 Cloves garlic; pressed
Celery sticks; for 3 oz Blue cheese; crumbled

Instructions for Buffalo Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Dip

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together butter, Tabasco, and vinegar. Dip chicken into mixture, then place on a lightly oiled baking sheet. Dust with paprika. 2. Bake chicken until crisp and brown (about 30 minutes). 3. To serve, arrange chicken on a platter lined with lettuce leaves. Set a bowl of Blue Cheese Dip in the center and celery sticks on the side. ~ ----- Blue Cheese Dip ----- In a blender puree tofu, vinegar, yogurt, sour cream, and garlic until smooth. Stir in blue cheese. Spoon into a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill until chicken is baked. Makes about 1-1/2 cups. NOTES : This popular hors doeuvre has gained national fame in a very short time. The original recipe calls for deep-fried chicken wings, but in this healthier version they are baked. Ingredient Insight - look inside this recipe

The dip was absolutely delicious! I appreciated how the cook tried to make these as healthy as possible. My problem was that I thought we had Tabasco but didn't and used some other hot sauce instead. Tabasco would have been better. And the wings might be better if marinated for a while. Great recipe. We can play around with the hot sauce as we wish.
