Minimum effort, Maximum Taste! A favorite recipe for using those ripe bananas.

"This was indeed the best recipe of banana cake, its so not bread, but it is wonderful, i actually changed this a tad, i added olive oil for the oil, i added about a cup of mini chocolate chips, i also added honeyed walnuts which also had a touch of cayanne pepper, and about one half cup of rasins, this was so simple and i let my kitchenaid mixer do all the work, this recipe was just unbelievably great, thanks for sharing and i cant wait to try more recipes from you,, thanks, CCheryl" - CCheryl

If you want or need to avoid processed sugar, this recipe is also good with sugar free yellow cake mix. I used walnut oil and 4 overripe bananas, in a bundt pan, and my family liked it a lot.

Thanks for a great idea for using up bananas. I would call this a cake really. I added a bit of cinnamon and vanilla extract and topped with cream cheese frosting and we loved it! Next time I would add 5 bananas.

OMG ! I made these to use up a few ingredients and wow, am I glad I did ! I used 1 fresh ripe banana cut into small chunks, and 2 frozen very ripe ones. I added some left-over grated zucchini, approximately 1/2 cup. I used chopped 1/2 cup Pecan and 1/2 cup raisins. I made them in Wilton's Petite Mini loaf pan, baked at 375 degrees for 17 minutes. I have 24, well 22 now, little gems to give a friend as a thank you for a wonderful favor she has done for me. Thank you !

Fast and easy recipe! I've made it a couple of times. I like to substitute applesauce for the oil and add a teasponful of cinnamon. It turns out a little spongier but totally worth it for the calories saved!

I used a butter pecan cake mix (it was all I had) and was very pleased with the results. This is so easy, anyone can whip this up before the oven is preheated! Love it!
