Grandmother's Best !!
"I'm giving this one four stars because I liked the way the egg produced a brown and crisp texture. What I'd like to see more on BigOven are recipes that reveal more technique. For instance, the dough in this recipe is sticky when ingredients are combined. If I didn't know that I'm supposed to dip my hands in flour, I'd have a tough time shaping the biscuits and probably end up with over kneaded biscuits. " - digiYield: 12 Ready in 45 minutes
