500?? Had to make twice. First try, meat look like hockey pucks. 375? is a much better. Great flavor. Would also suggest doubling the sauce.

I made this recipe using some think cut pork chops and cooked them on a gas grill. This was quite tasty. The char from the grill made the whole piece quite flavorful. A good weeknight meal if you remember to plan to marinate the meat ahead of time.
Good idea to make extra sauce/marinade. Barbecue superb. Cook to 140 degrees internal temp. Was great advice. Came out perfect.
